Quotes

“Sing For Change is an innovative intervention to mobilize the minority faith community. We welcome Minister Jones to the field.”

– Nancy Kingwood, The Nia Alliance for Women of Color

“I’m really so excited about the work of Sing For Change. It is an excellent organization that is making changes in the lives of many men, women, and children. I think this work will be like a wind that will blow all across the country and the world. Watch and see! Sing For Change is God wrapped up in flesh here on earth, loving people back to life! You should join up and help, I have!

- Minister Stephen Hurd, Integrity Music Recording Artist

“Sing For Change is a prophetic answer that, like the Creator, engages the creative powers within us to transform and heal those affected and infected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.”

- Alisha Jones, MDiv, Miss Black Maryland, 2008

Sing For Change
(HIV/AIDS Ministry)

CeCe Jones SFCSeveral years ago, I watched a television program that would change my life forever. The program documented the plight of a group of African children who had lost their parents to AIDS. The stories I heard were gruesome and heart-wrenching, yet this is not what struck with me the most. After all the loss and tragedy those children had faced, they looked into the camera with big eyes and bright smiles and sang a song which said "many have died, but we are alive, what can we do for Jesus..."

CJM is committed to biblically-based responses to social disparities that plague society at large. In particular, CJM focuses on bringing awareness of HIV/AIDS to minority communities in urban settings in Connecticut and beyond through Sing For Change.
